That’s right, if you’re phone lines are cut (which is very easy to do!), your home can be easily breached and your family will be at risk.

Even if this is your first search for home security, chances are you’ve checked out ADT. This means that Facebook will know if you are walking or driving and where you go every minute of the day. They will be able to pinpoint your home, using simple pieces of information, such as the location your phone sits still between 11pm and 6am every day. It doesn’t matter what home security system you have, it can’t protect your home address from showing up in your GPS tracking data. Facebook can also easily track your relationships, by taking your “Facebook Friend” lists and adding geographic data of the locations you and your friends visit at the same time.
Sending messages and making calls through Facebook Home means that not only can Facebook track who you keep in contact with, but they can also mine your text messages and emails for keyword data, and target you with specific ads based on who you are and where you go. While Facebook Home is currently ad-free, Zuckerberg has said that advertising will be coming soon.
It doesn’t matter what information you hope you keep private, Facebook Home will figure it out. With virtually no notion of privacy, there is a huge risk for anyone who downloads it on their cell phone. As we do away with home phone lines, laptops, and other devices, all of our personal data will eventually travel through our cell phones. Do we really want Facebook reading that data and storing it forever?

5 Spring Home Maintenance Tasks You Don’t Want To Skip
Who among us really has time to take care of every detail inside our homes? On top of work, school, family, pets, children and friends, there is always laundry to do, meals to cook, and TV shows to catch up on. - Caulk the Bathtub – When the waterproof caulk around your bathtub and shower gets old, it can let water seep into your walls. Water can cause damage and encouraged mold to grow. It’s easy to remove old caulk and replace it with fresh caulk to keep your walls dry.
