Garth Brooks at the Encore in Las Vegas
It’s Garth Brook’s encore at the Encore Theatre at the Encore Las Vegas. It’s the last of his five-star shows at a five-star hotel. The lines just keep coming as fans and hotel owner Steve Wynn prepare for the most dominant recording artist of the 1990s’ last show of his storied three year residency at the sister casino to the Wynn Las Vegas.
There are rumors of Garth Brooks tickets for performances outside of the Strip, but the most that have been announced are one-off performances to celebrate anniversaries or to play for great causes. Yet, the whispers of an actual tour remain in the background and his many fans, some of whom will lucky enough to see this final Wynn Hotel performance Share/Bookmark
Shania Twain is in Vegas December 2012
Shania Twain is country strong; having endured a divorce that sent her reeling emotionally and almost stole her voice, quite literally. Following her highly publicized divorce from producer Mutt Lange she actually felt her voice slipping away. She could deal with getting a little older and no longer being able to quite pull off the binding and unforgiving head-to-toe leather suit, but losing her voice meant losing her ability to express herself.
There can be no greater loss for a performer, but thankfully she overcame her Dysphonia. It took months of physical rehabilitation and the emotional support of now second husband Frederic Thiebuad, the former husband of the woman who stole who first husband. Now, she has completed her comeback and has released the single “Today Is Your Day” after he program on OWN (Oprah’s cable station) ended. The song is cathartic, inspired by her own mantra while she recovered from a betrayal by her then husband and her then best friend.
With a single on the radio the next step is performing live and Shania has made quite an arrangement, a two-year residency at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace beginning on December 1, 2012. The show, Still the One, is her first extended tour of any sort in eight years. The performance will bring the beloved singer and the ageless beauty out to perform her biggest hits with a little bit of a surprise.
In between regaling the sold out crowd with “Man! I Feel Like Woman” and “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under”, the singer-songwriter is going to introduce some new material because she also has a new album on the horizon. Yes, Shania Twain is back ass officially ass is possible and VegasTickets has the Shania Twain tickets to see the incredible performer live at the Colosseum during these monthly shows.
Las Vegas Pride Parade 2012
The Las Vegas Pride Parade is coming Friday night and it welcomes three icons to serve as grand marshals in the grandest stand on the Strip – Joan Rivers, Kathy Griffin, and Margaret Cho. The night does not end for the LGBT crowd and its supporters at Fourth Street and Ogden, the end of the parade route. There is plenty of partying to be had. The same can be said for Rivers and Griffin, but they will not be partying. They will be working. Only Cho, who performed earlier this week, will get to relax and take part in one of the biggest annual celebrations in Sin City.
Joan Rivers is spending the weekend at the Venetian Las Vegas, entertaining those with Joan Rivers tickets to see her at the resort’s showcase on Friday and Saturday night. She is taking a break from tearing down the celebrities on Fashion Police to encourage an audience to laugh at her in all her glory. Rivers is a natural choice as part of the triumvirate of grand marshals because she is one of the few people in the world to truly accept herself, in all her glory and all her shame.
Kathy Griffin will be prepping for a set at the Terry Fator Theatre at the Mirage. She is sure to pack the house and sell out Kathy Griffin tickets for September 8, 2012 show with, as she often says, her “gays” spending the entire weekend in Vegas.
This is the 29th annual pride parade in Las Vegas and this year the event will undoubtedly be among its best, especially given the caliber of performers they have invited to attend. Find both Joan Rivers Vegas tickets and Kathy Griffin Vegas tickets at VegasTickets.com to see the fashion police and the d-list diva live.
Jason Andrews joins Crazy Horse Paris in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is something more than Sin City. Rather, it is a metropolis seemingly existing on the edge of reality and reason, a world in which anything is possible and there is always something new to discover and astound. Jason Andrews, a contemporary classic magician, has arrived at the MGM Grand for the final run of Crazy Horse Paris at its home for 11 years and will continue this tradition and perhaps be a part of the show once its new home is announced.
Andrews grew up in this enchanting city. Enchanted by the shows on the strip he would become a magician, one whose international accolades number 25, the same as his age. His arrival at Crazy Horse is really his return, as his growing stature as one of the most talented and entertaining magicians in the world has taken him to three continents and countless countries.
Yet, he is perhaps best known for his performance two years ago on “America’s Got Talent”. He has certainly sharpened his show since, creating a seamless show combining a sense of class and tricks paying homage to those magicians of yesteryear with youthful vigor and a terrific sense of humor.
As part of Crazy Horse Paris’s last run at the MGM Grand he will do more than simply take the stage as the 12 incredible beauties of the cabaret change and prepare to seduce the crowd with a sense of grace and sensuality unmatched throughout the world. Jason Andrews will be just as mesmerizing, perhaps taking advantage of the alluring performers to take part in his act.
Crazy Horse Paris is ending its time at the Grand on October 1, 2012. The Sin City mainstay will not be gone for long, certainly providing another resort and casino on the strip with an exquisite demonstration of the elegance and charm of the female form. Before this, however, Crazy Horse Paris will embark on an U.S. tour, likely taking Jason Andrews along for another chance to demonstrate his talents to cities from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Crazy Horse Paris tickets for these final shows are available now at VegasTickets.com

UFC 148 on July 7 at MGM
The stage is set for UFC 148 on July 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena where the middleweight title rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen will take place. This fight is one of UFC’s most highly anticipated rematches. These two guys provided a hell of a fight last time around and expectations are this bout will also prove to be exciting. The bout has all the necessary pre fight shenanigans with trash talking, a dislike for each other and national pride. Chael Sonnen, the number one contender won’t be expecting a whole lot of support from the Brazillian MMA fans, but then he’s probably not going to be shown a lot of love from the Vegas crowd either. Sonnen says he’s OK with that. He says he’s not competing for the sake of the North American crowd.
The co-main event will be the rubber match between Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin. Win, lose, or draw this is said to be the last fight for Ortiz. Not many fighters have had as much impact on the sport of MMA as Ortiz has. Ortiz is expected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on July 6th as part of the UFC fan expo.
