Contributor Profile July
This month on The Skinny, we're excited to feature an illustrator, Li Tzu Chien. He creates delightful vector backgrounds that feature a variety of colorful and whimsical characters.
Li Tzu Chien began creating his staple patterns and cartoon-style illustrations while making backgrounds and doing web design work as a student of design in Taiwan.
He's always enjoyed creating playful animal and human vectors, and hopes his work will save designers time. Li Tzu Chien's art definitely adds an endearing and creative element to any design project.

Introducing Ryan Jorgensen (Jorgo), this month's featured contributor on The Skinny. Jorgensen recognized photography as his true calling in 2006 while working as a graphic designer for an advertising agency. He began to pursue photography full time when it become evident that his uncanny vision and powerful inspiration would pave the way to a promising career.
Jorgensen explores the macabre side of photography, revealing the mysteries that lie in the hidden corners of our minds. Inspired by historic events, vintage portraits, fantasy, and mysteries, his work is a unique juxtaposition of horror and beauty.
It's rare to find such stunning photography that stimulates the imagination and calls on conflicting emotions-love, anger, humor, curiosity, and despair. Within each of his images is a story-one we're excited to welcome to Veer.

Featured Contributor Johan Swanepoel
We're proud to announce that Johan Swanepoel is this month's Featured
Contributor. Hailing from South Africa with a background in engineering and
construction management, Swanepoel pursued his passion for photography as
young man in the era of manual cameras and darkrooms.
We love his intimate wildlife photographs-powerful additions to the Veer library.
While he claims to value modern digital equipment and techniques, when asked if
he is a wildlife photography "purist" - Swanepoel says:
"No, cropping, healing, cloning, composites, etc., are part of the tools in order to
create the image I have in mind. The final goal will mostly dictate the rules. When
looking casually at images, I rarely question the processes involved, but rather
appreciate the message or beauty of the subject."
